Client Manager, Music

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Client Leadership team to understand key brand client’s goals to develop a best in class music strategy
  • Work with internal creative, experiential, analytics and operations team to execute best in class branded music programs than align with the client music strategy
  • Manage music sponsorships and artist partnerships
  • Be the main point of contact for clients, properties and vendors related to music sponsorships and activations
  • Work with client to ensure sponsorships are leveraged across client’s social, PR, field marketing, media and merchandising teams
  • Develop and manage assigned staff to ensure they are meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Manage on-going operations of creative development, experiential planning, activations, sweepstakes, reporting, analytics, and associated budgets
  • Monitor event activations for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Apply best practices and key learnings for continual improvement
  • Manage weekly statuses to keep clients and internal teams updated and track progress of deliverables and timelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years related work experience in related field
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Experience with the music industry
  • Client management skills (i.e. retaining, managing and growing long term relationships)
  • Proficiency with live event marketing projects and consumer interaction/engagement
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 20% travel (independent)
